I'm Suzanne J., the breeder behind Suzanne Johnson Papillons located in Tucson, AZ. (Note: All puppies are reserved at this time. 8-16-22 Suzanne Johnson)
We responsibly breed, raise, and socialize healthy pups so others can enjoy the gift of living life with a Papillon! We only breed with dogs that are healthy, have wonderful temperaments, and are outstanding examples of their breed. Our puppies are raised with love in our home, and we strive to help each one grow up with confidence so they are ready to leave with their new families.
Q. & A. with Suzanne
Why did you start breeding?
I've been crazy about dogs all my life. I used to breed Maltese in the 1990's in Iowa. I started with Papillons because they are sooooo beautiful and smart. I started showing in Conformation prior to Covid with Zoe.
What makes your program special?
We do genetic testing, have shown in AKC Conformation, and the fur-babies live in our home and sleep in our bed. Zoe, the mother to this litter is so loved. The puppies were bred to be show quality; but inevitably there's going to be some that weren't meant to be shown. Thus allowing people a genetically sound puppy. The dam has a Grand Champion father which is exciting, and sire has a champion father.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include white and sable and white black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
