I'm Suzy R., the breeder behind Suzy’s Golden Girls located in Gilbert, AZ. I’m the responsible breeder behind Suzy’s Golden Girls. My focus is on excellence in every aspect of my breeding program. I offer top-quality Golden retrievers for pet homes. This includes proper health care and socialization for each puppy, I set my puppies up for success by carefully selecting the parents of each litter, keeping in mind factors such as health, temperament, and intelligence. My goal is to choose parents whose genes will bring out the best qualities in each other and produce well-balanced puppies!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    My goal is to produce healthy, loving dogs for those in need, and I strive to prepare all my Golden retrievers to excel in their forever homes as service dogs or as loving family members. It is such an honor to preserve the line of these incredible dogs all the while creating companionship for others!

  • What makes your program special?

    I hold myself to a high standard when it comes to my dogs and my policies. I am thorough in health testing and caring for my dogs, and I make sure each puppy gets the proper group and individual care that it needs to thrive. My goal is to ensure that every dog that comes from my program is set up to live a happy and healthy life and is prepared for its future role when it leaves my care - whether that be for service work, as a lifelong family member, or both!   • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Golden Retriever puppies include golden and light golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Suzy

Suzy has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $250 non-refundable deposit and between $2,750 - $3,250 final payment, before taxes & fees.

"Price includes first round of shots deworming as well a health guarantee and a go home bag with things to get you started. Puppy food, leash, collar, blanket with mamas scent and toys too. Pups come with a One Year health guarantee. I don’t usually take a deposit until the puppies are four weeks old and you get to meet them in person and pick your puppy. But if litter is in high demand I will take deposits after pregnancy is confirmed."

Suzy may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.     Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
