I'm Robin H., the breeder behind Swan Creek Kennel located in Hollister, MO. When you buy a puppy from me, it is with the understanding that you are investing in a family member - it is a commitment for the life of the dog. Please be aware, like any member of your family they will make 'mistakes', get sick, will at times be smelly or noisy, please be patient. When your puppy has chewed your child's headphones or your favorite shoe... just remember, he'll never get mad, slam a door, give the 'silent treatment' or say he 'hates you'. He'll always be happy to greet you and it doesn't matter if you brushed your teeth, pass gas, forgot his birthday or that you stepped on him 10 minutes ago - he just wants to be loved by you. A member of the family is not disposable and shouldn't be inconvenient - make sure you're ready. Like God, your dog will love you unconditionally but like man, he will make mistakes. Enjoy the love!

Getting a puppy from Robin

Robin has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,300 - $2,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Pups are $1800. AKC limited registration. Remaining amount is due in CASH at pickup. Deposit is non-refundable but IS transferable to another Swan Creek Papillon that is available.”

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • DNA Disease Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    I initially messaged Robin just to ask questions about the breed itself and what a papillon would look like in our family (and if they would be a good fit). Robin was honest and up front about what would be needed from us in order to bring a papillon into our family. At the time, I wasn’t quite ready to make any commitment, but never felt rushed by Robin. She had no problem providing her phone number to talk about questions or concerns. One of her puppies she had available was an older puppy named Forrest, who was the last of his litter still looking for a home. I asked her about his personality and she was very knowledgeable about his individual needs. After speaking with her, I felt confident that Forrest would be an excellent fit for us. She walked me through the whole process of prepping for him to arrive via air and overall it was a very simple and straightforward process with minimal hiccups. Forrest arrived and my son immediately saw him and said “He looks like Mackenzie from Bluey!!!” I gave it a day or two to see if he changed his mind, but it stuck haha. He has been SO calm, has yet to have an accident in the house, he loves to just follow you around and be with you. I can see his mind working when we’re working on basic commands/leash training. Overall, he’s been hands down the easiest puppy I’ve ever had.

    Robin was lovely to work with. She was super knowledgeable, helpful and quick and to respond. You can tell that she truly cares about her dogs and who they end up with and I really appreciate that. We wanted to get our puppy on time for Christmas and she made it happen by personally flying her over to us and making sure she was comfortable and well loved during the flight. Now about our puppy! We are absolutely thrilled with our new family addition. Our girl, Pixie, is a total sweetheart, she’s got the best personality around and has won over everyone in the family. She’s adorable, playful, smart and loves to snuggle! The total package! We are forever grateful to Robin for giving our family our new best friend and making this Christmas truly magical!
