Meet the breeder

I'm Lori S., the breeder behind Sweet Angels Bolognese located in Mechanicsburg, PA. Our goal is to provide families with beautiful, sweet, healthy, happy puppies. Our dogs are such an important part of our lives, and we can’t imagine being without them.

Q. & A. with Lori

  • Why did you start breeding?

I have loved the Bolognese breed since I held my very first Bolognese puppy over 30 years ago. Now that I am retired and have time, I decided I wanted to breed so that I can share these sweet, wonderful, loving little puppies with more people.
  • What makes your program special?

Our dogs are our family pets, and as such, they are part of our family. Their puppies are raised with lots and lots of love and attention.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

We had an excellent experience with Lori! She sent us lots of pictures and videos to help us choose which puppy we wanted. When we went to pick up Monty, she gave us lots of tips. It was obvious that Monty was well cared for! Even after we brought him home, Lori kept in touch and always answered any questions we had! I would definitely recommend Lori!!

It was a pleasure meeting and dealing with Lori. We were concerned about getting a dog from a puppy mill. We were able to see for ourselves that she loves her dogs and we knew we were in good hands. She answered all of our questions and didn’t pressure us. We send her pictures of Daisy and she’s in touch with us.

We want to thank Lori for making this so easy. She answered all of our questions & was very helpful. It has been 4 weeks since Vito joined us! We can’t imagine life without him. The vet says he is 4lbs & will probably grow to 9 lbs. He likes to do his business outside & wimps to let me know. He gets the “zoomies” after dinner & loves to play fetch. We love this little fur ball ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Lori gave me so much valuable information about what to expect. Her place was clean and the dogs were clearly very healthy and happy. The separate room for litters was empty at the moment as my dog was the last one to be picked up. It is large, clean, with separate secure enclosures, supplies and lots of light. I have had my little guy for over a month now and he is the best dog I have ever owned. He is very healthy, happy and smart. He is crate trained and housebroken. Lori has stayed in touch as promised and offered up great advice and tips! I adore my puppy.

My family is very happy with the puppy that we got from Lori! We named him after his dad (Luca), and from the moment he got home, he has been very reliable with his pee pads. Of course, being a puppy, he isn’t perfect, but he did far better than I would’ve expected a young puppy to be doing at the age when we got him (10 weeks). He is such a sweet, cuddly and energetic boy, and we can’t wait to spend many more years with Luca. He is thriving at our home and we are so happy to have him. He is such a cute and playful boy, and he adores every stranger he sees. He also gets along with other dogs. Lori was very helpful and kind in the process of purchasing him.
