Why did you start breeding?
The owner of Sweetheart Doodles (Audra) is a pediatric occupational therapist in her local public schools supporting children with special needs. Her own personal experiences with an emotional support/family dog also helped her understand the benefits of canine companionship during difficult times. We know firsthand how sweet-natured dogs bring comfort and connection to families and communities.
What makes your program special?
Sweetheart Doodles family-raises puppies in the loving comforts of our home with an emphasis on neurological, sensory, and social stimulation techniques to develop ideal canine temperaments suitable for service work, therapy work, emotional support, companionship, and family live. We follow structured puppy-rearing curriculums to foster the foundational skills necessary for joining your family.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies include mini and medium sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include red, brown, sable, black, black and white, tri-color, phantom, blue merle, and merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
Getting a puppy from Audra
Audra has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Price
Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and $2,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“Our breeding and puppy-rearing program focuses heavily on the temperament and health of our dogs; therefore, we place all of our pups at the same price point regardless of coat color and pattern. ~$500 non-refundable deposit is due to complete the puppy reservation and be placed on our puppy list.
~Remaining balance is due when the puppy is 7 weeks old.”

Hip Dysplasia (Preliminary)
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia (Preliminary)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
Progressive Retinal Atrophy (PRA), Generalized, Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1B), Bernese Mountain Dog Type, Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), Full Embark Panel, DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
