I'm Faithful Acres F., the breeder behind Faithful Acres French Bulldogs located in Nevis, MN. Our dogs have playful and loving personalities. They are not aggressive or dominant. We breed for quality and not quantity. We show our dogs internationally and with the AKC. We are proud members of the AKC Bred By Heart program, Greater Twin Lakes French Bulldog Club, & Granite City Kennel Club.

What makes your program special?
The health of our Frenchies is of the utmost importance. To ensure healthy puppies, we have all of our breeding dogs OFA tested (patellas, hips, elbows, hearts), in addition to testing for things like Legg-Calve (LCPD), tracheal hypoplasia, eyes, and 6 panel DNA. We work on OFA CHIC certifying our dogs. We show our dogs with AKC & InternationalWhat are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include brindle, cream, and fawn. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Faithful Acres partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Hip Dysplasia , Hip Dysplasia (Preliminary)
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI), Elbow Dysplasia (Preliminary)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Spine (OFA, FCI), Brucellosis, Legg-Calve-Perthes (OFA), Dentition, Tracheal Hypoplasia
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
Multifocal Retinopathy 1 (CMR1), PRA, Cone-Rod Dystrophy 4 (PRA-crd4), Congenital Hypothyroidism with Goiter (CHG), VetGen DNA Testing, Hereditary (Juvenile) Cataracts (HC; JC), Cystinuria Type 3, French Bulldog Type Risk Factor, Hyperuricosuria (HUU)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
