I'm Gretchen W., the breeder behind Sycamore Canyon Labradoodle located in Riverside, CA. Raised at the heart of our home, our puppies and their mamas spend their days playing outdoors, socializing, and being showered with love. We focus on raising happy, confident pups who transition easily into your family.

Why did you start breeding?
I grew up with majestic German Shepherds, and my husband, lovable Golden Retrievers. Then we witnessed the teddy-bear faces of Australian Labradoodles and just fell in love. With the added benefits of non-shedding fur, fewer allergens, and being insanely smart, we were in. Our family gets to experience the miracle of life up close; each puppy's face pulls on our heartstrings. It was a win-winWhat makes your program special?
We are dedicated to upholding the absolute integrity of the breed. Our thoughtful breeding program focuses strictly on quality, selecting parents with outstanding pedigrees and rigorous health clearances. Gretchen has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
After buyers complete the application and screening process, Gretchen partners with them to find the best puppy match.
“You are welcome in our home to pick out a puppy if it has not been prearranged here on Good Dog. Puppy visitation is in order of reservations received”
Price
“All puppies come with a two-year genetic health guarantee, vaccinations, microchipped, wellness exam, welcome home baskets, and registration with WALA. Deposit is non-refundable but can be transfered to another puppy or litter.”

About Rum
Sycamore Canyon's "Rum" is a gorgeous multi-generational Australian Labradoodle, born June 15th, 2020. Rum's sire was Legeandary's very own "Grayson" and her dam "Cherry Rowan". She has a lush wavy, caramel-colored coat, and a strong stocky body with the signature blocky head. Her personality is playful and sweet and we love her so much.

Sycamore Canyon's Lady is recognized for her gentle and sweet temperament, as well as her athletic build. She is the proud offspring of Cherry Rowan and Legendary's Grayson, boasting foundational Australian Labradoodle lines. Lady has a wavy fleece coat that is non-shedding. Playful and affectionate, she holds a special place in our hearts. This is her second litter, and she is an excellent mother.

Rowan is a multi-generational Australian Labradoodle, DOB 12-21-2018. Sire: Big Rock Master Yoda, Dam: Cherry Flair for Dramatic Timing. Sire's entire PPC Panel is clear, and Dam's entire PPC Panel is Clear. Rowan has all of her shots, Good OFA, Clear Eyes, and Clear DM.

Whiskey is a female Australian Labradoodle. Carefully selected as a great representative of her breed, Gretchen decided to make her part of their program. Gretchen has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
DNA Disease Panel, PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
