I'm Barb B., the breeder behind Symmetry Danes located in Fort Worth, TX. Our kennel name "Symmetry" was chosen because we believe dogs should be well balanced mentally and physically, and because we compete in both conformation and performance.
We raise top-quality puppies that have potential to exceed in show and as the best family companions.
Q. & A. with Barb
Why did you start breeding?
I've had Danes for 30+ years, and started out by showing in Obedience and later Conformation, Agility and Rally as a fun activity. Eventually we started breeding as a way to continue the Great Dane bloodline with proper breed type including temperament, conformation, athleticism, and trainability.
What makes your program special?
Our focus is to produce the best dogs of the highest quality so that other families can also enjoy the love of a Great Dane. We are sure to not only produce beautiful puppies but to help promote responsible breeding in order to ensure that the Great Dane will continue to thrive for generations to come.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include brindle and fawn. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
