Q. & A. with Kari
Why did you start breeding?
Our breeding program started in 2015 when we got our first 2 Siberian Huskies from my mother-in-law. My husband grew up raising dogs and horses, he loved it all so our journey began. We started just breeding huskies but because of our crazy life with younger kids, we switched to a Pomsky. For us, they fit perfectly into our family.
What makes your program special?
We do our best to raise puppies that are well-socialized, have calm temperaments, and have a great disposition. We are always looking for new ways to improve our breeding program to make sure we have some of the best pomsky lines out there.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies include mini and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include tri-color, silver and white, lavender, blue, black, black and white, and chocolate. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
