About Ledger
Master's Why So Serious, "Ledger", came to us in late 2017 at 8 months old. After finding out he was still available, we began to discuss him with his breeder. A few VERY short weeks later, Ledger was on our doorstep all the way from Arizona. Named for the notorious Joker actor, Heath Ledger, our boy is anything but serious. Ledger is the typical golden goofball and enjoys the chance to run free and swim in ponds. He is very birdy and watery, and has very high toy drive. He is an easy going dog, gentle in nature with children and the elderly. He cohabitates with other intact males nicely, and does not display any aggressive tendencies. Ledger's senior hunter title was expected prior to 2020, however we unfortunately encountered a trainer who was extremely cruel to him, and set his training behind. As a testament to his temperament and drive, Ledger has come back from this horrible experience and still loves to play the game, and loves to meet strangers. We expect both his seasoned and senior titles by the end of 2020, and hope to have his master and finished titles by the end of 2021. He's a hard-hitting, high drive dog who we hope will go far. He currently has his CGC, CCA, and advanced trick titles, and will be adding his SH, RN, and some dock diving titles this year (one jump is needed for senior). He has matured nicely with a thick, dark coat. He is deep in the chest, with nice rear angles. He has a smooth topline, correct bite, and kind expression. He weighs around 70-75lbs and stands approximately 24" tall. Ledger is standing at stud to approved bitches.

About Ginny
Ginny is a little firecracker. Standing just 19" and weighing 45 lbs, she is small, but speedy and agile. Exceptional food drive and toy drive, Ginny would've made an excellent agility dog. However, we co-own Ginny with family members, where she is primarily a cherished family pet. Living with two small children, Ginny is gentle with her kids, and has a blast playing with other dogs. An extremely athletic dog, Ginny can jump a 3ft baby gate from a stand still. She has excellent water courage, and is a very strong swimmer. Obedient and biddable, she tries her hardest to please her humans and needs very little correction. While she has not been on birds, as a puppy she had excellent bird drive (and has been known to retrieve a wandering chicken or two). Her pedigree brings in well-known powerhouses of the retrieving world, and we expect her to produce wonderful competition dogs
