I'm Alexis P., the breeder behind Tallyho Tollers located in Lexington, KY. As breeders, we are stewards of the future of our breed, so we are careful to always maintain ethical breeding practices. This includes proper health testing, intentional breeding for specific traits, and raising our puppies with proper socialization and puppy culture.
Q. & A. with Alexis
Why did you start breeding?
It was always my mom's dream to have her own breeding kennel. Sadly, cancer took her at 46 years old. We loved and cherished her heart dog, Ace, until he died at the ripe old age of 15 years old. We still have frozen semen on Ace, so I knew I wanted to get a girl to continue my mom's legacy in breeding that she was never able to fulfill.
What makes your program special?
My girl comes from Beekauz Kennels, who was a close family friend of my moms. I have been fortunate enough to have Sharon and some other folks that have been in the business a long time mentor me through my first breeding experience. From carefully selecting this breeding, to the nurture these puppies are being brought up with, this will be special litter of beautiful little achievers.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

About Arrow
Arrow is the complete package - excelling in both performance events and as a travel companion to her mom, Alexis. Arrow earned her AKC CH completely owner-handled by Alexis and also soared to incredible heights in dock diving, earning the spot of the Number 1 Toller IN THE USA in 2022 for distance jump. Arrow also excels in rally/obedience, lure coursing, and field work, earning titles in each of these disciplines over the last few years. Unlike many Tollers, Arrow is quiet and does not do the nefarious "Toller scream," although she does have a lot of drive when she wants to. Due to her quiet nature and her ON/OFF switch, Arrow totes around the country as an excellent travel companion. She has visited 25 US states and has crossed international borders into Canada as well. She is vigorously loyal to her mom and select few friends and family. Everyone that has had the opportunity to meet her in her travels remarks at what a lovely guest she is in someone else's home.
