I'm Axel B., the breeder behind Tampa Bay Farm located in Seffner, FL. A boutique hobby farm in the Tampa Bay area, raising AKC-registered, OFA-certified Newfoundlands alongside Miniature Jersey cows and German Shepherds. Puppies are raised as family, socialized with our other animals and kids, and go home with AKC papers, health clearances, and a starter kit.

Why did you start breeding?
We got into breeding because we love this breed and wanted to do it right: health-tested, AKC-registered, and raised as part of a real family farm rather than a commercial operation. This is our first litter, born from Hugo and our dam, and we've built our process around the same values we bring to the rest of the farm — patience, care, and putting the animals first.What makes your program special?
What sets us apart is time and exposure. Our puppies stay with us past the standard 8 weeks so they can fully socialize with our other dogs, goats, chickens, cows, and donkeys, plus the kids and friends who visit the farm. Every puppy goes home AKC-registered, vet-checked, heart-cleared, microchipped, and health-guaranteed — set up to thrive from day one. Getting a puppy from Axel
Axel has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
Axel partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 8 weeks old.
“We let people choose in order. We offer a premium for first male or female pick, and beyond that is in order of reception of deposit. At 8 weeks we will either let people come meet and select in order, or remotely advice them based on their needs and the puppy personalities if they cannot come meet them.”

About Hugo
Hugo is a true gentle giant, who behaves like a puppy trapped in a black bear's body. He is super playful and goofy. He loves taking walks around our farm, checking on the goats, and walking the farm perimeter along with Maggie. Hugo is a therapy dog at heart, and naturally leans into you when he senses tension (from a rough day at work to sports on the TV not going your way). Overall very mild-mannered, loves kids, and really kind to other animals, form dogs to goats and chickens. He may be the most adorable dog we have, his goofy puppy eyes and maners in his giant body make him irresistible. He is AKC registered with all vet records up to date and in good health.

About Maggie
Maggie is a really loving dog. Her tail starts wagging every time you approach her, and will always seek out pets. She loves taking walks around our farm with Hugo, checking on the goats, and walking the farm perimeter. Overall very mild-mannered, loves kids, and really good to other animals, from dogs to goats and chickens. She is the pack leader, while she has never displayed any aggression she is still a dominant dog. Her coat is amazing, a very thick and fluffy coat consistency, along with a beautiful chocolate marked by a white spot on the chest and another at the tip of the tail. She is AKC registered with all vet records up to date and in good health.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
