Tanji M.

Breeder of Golden Retrievers

Meet the breeder

I'm Tanji M., the breeder behind Tanji River Goldens located in Carriere, MS. We raise our dogs with love in our home. We have high expectations for our pups and strive to pair each one with a loving family. We are dedicated to always providing our buyers and our puppies with a positive experience, which includes remaining committed to responsible practices when it comes to breeding, training, and rehoming our puppies.

Q. & A. with Tanji

  • Why did you start breeding?

Our golden experience started when I moved my business home in 2016 and I had extra time on our farm. I felt like something was missing and my husband was working long hours at that time. After careful thought, we decided to bring our first English Cream Golden Retriever into our family. It wasn’t long after having our puppy home and feeling all the love that she brought into our life, we knew that sharing these wonderful companions with other families was exactly what we wanted to do and our journey began.
  • What makes your program special?

The heart behind what we do is more than just because we love these incredible dogs, but also because we want to share the loyal love they give with others. Breeding the best quality family dogs and sharing the joy they bring is truly what has been put on our heart, and we hand pick every forever home especially for each unique puppy we help bring into this world.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
