I'm Marie F., the breeder behind Tao Pekingese located in Scandia, MN. We are a small breeder located in Minnesota. We have had many Champions, Grand Champions, and companions, placed in wonderful homes. Striving to breed for health and temperament, while finding the right fit for prospective parents. They are our babies, and we want them to be successful, and happy, learning to love and be loved, by their new families. "Life is a journey, enjoy it".

  • Why did you start breeding?

    Being in 4-H as a young girl taught me many skills. Learning to keep records for breeding cattle and raising chickens, to choosing studs with my father for peer-bred Angus beef cattle, acquired by my brother in FFA. I also showed my cattle and chickens at the local county fair. I started breeding my first AKC Samoyeds in my 20"s and started showing soon after.

  • What makes your program special?

    We are very small in-home breeders, the whole family helps, and we show our babies to know the breed standard. Temperament and health are the priorities. Placing them in homes that make a good fit for both puppy and parents.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and guardian homes.

Getting a puppy from Marie

Price

Puppy prices include a $2,500 deposit and between $1,000 - $3,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Marie may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy.
