I'm Tayler S., the breeder behind TaylerMade Goldens located in Lompoc, CA. We proudly breed working Golden Retrievers who are prepared to excel in any home and any environment. We love our dogs! Each parent is genetically tested and their hips, elbows, heart, and eyes have been checked. All breeding dogs have at least one title and compete for more daily. The puppies come with an 18-month health guarantee. An application must be approved to purchase—spay and neuter contracts with each litter.
Q. & A. with Tayler
Why did you start breeding?
My journey into breeding began when I saw the profound impact well-bred, well-trained dogs could have on people’s lives. I decided to combine my training expertise with breeding to ensure that each dog not only meets the highest standards of health and temperament but also excels in service roles and as a family companion.
What makes your program special?
What sets my breeding program apart is the meticulous attention to health, temperament, and trainability. Each puppy is raised in a nurturing environment, receives early socialization, and is evaluated for potential service roles, ensuring they are well-prepared for their future homes. Puppies go home kennel trained and begin potty training.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
