I'm Karen T., the breeder behind Teak’s Texas Frenchie’s located in Temple, TX. Teak’s Texas Frenchies is built on integrity, family, and a love for the French Bulldog breed. We are dedicated to producing Frenchies with excellent conformation, outstanding temperament, and intelligence, while prioritizing health and quality. Our dogs are raised in our home, and well-socialized. Frenchies should not only look beautiful but also be healthy, loving, and a joy to be around.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I have been around the AKC and CKC breeding world myself for over 25 years. I can say I am by no means your standard breeder. From 2000-2012 I had 2 OEB’s that I bred 2 times to select males for only quality show purposes. We now have 1 female and 1 male that were carefully selected for confirmation, and bloodline. Best of all they are our pets. We will breed them no more than 3 times.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include brindle, fawn, brindle and white, black and tan, tricolors, fawn and white, black, black and white, blue fawn, and blue. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Karen

Karen has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Karen partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Puppy prices include a $500 deposit and between $2,000 - $4,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Prices may vary based on rarity. A deposit is required to secure the puppy for purchase. Each puppy will have AKC Registration, Fully Vaccinated , Vet check-up, and worming. Not all puppies are priced the same. Minimum deposit is required to reserve your puppy. Deposit is usually non refundable.”

Karen may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Vet Wellness Exam

    A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

  • DNA Disease Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
