Q. & A. with Deb
Why did you start breeding?
I waited 20 years to find the right breed and the right dog. Temperament is most important. Then health.
A purposefully bred, well-bred, pure-bred dog that is health tested and proven at events should be the only dogs bred.
Tempus Fugit is a preservation breeder, keeping to the original standard of this herding breed.
What makes your program special?
Our pups are raised with Puppy Culture. This program stimulates brain development and confidence. This starts on day one through 10 weeks when the pup is placed in its forever home.
There is a contract required of each pup. It spells out care for the dog. If at any time, the pup cannot remain in your home, it is to be returned to us. Our pups do not end up in shelters.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include red tri-color and black tri. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
