I'm Teresa P., the breeder behind Teresa’s Fur Babies located in Blanchard, OK. I take great care of my parents and my puppies to make sure that they are healthy and come from parents with good temperaments. I raise my puppies in my home and they are part of my family. I do not sell to disreputable sources and I try to make sure that my puppy buyers are people who love animals and want to give them a good home with a life time commitment.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I bought my first standard and realized how smart they were and what great companions they make. I wanted to share what I found in my own Standard Poodle with others. I studied about breeding and decided I would just have a litter and see how it went. I fell in love with the puppies. I loved having them around and seeing people come to pick them up and how happy it makes them. In checking on the puppies later, people told me how much they loved their puppy. Some even came back asking for another or had a friend that wanted one. That started the ball rolling and then I soon decided that I wanted a lap dog that people could enjoy. So I decided to go with the havanese and I have not regretted it. They are sturdy little dogs that are truly smart and bring so much joy. They are just happy little dogs that love people and love attention. I have now branched out and gotten toy poodles. I’m so excited about my toy poodles. I can hardly wait to start having litters.

  • What makes your program special?

    I breed standard poodles and I also breed Havanese and toy poodles. I take great care with my parents and my puppies to make sure that they are healthy and come from parents with good temperaments. I raise my puppies in my home and they are part of my family. I do not sell to puppy mills, and I try to make sure that my puppy buyers are people who love animals and want to give them a good home with a lifetime commitment. My parents are vet checked yearly and receive their yearly vaccinations to make sure that they stay in good health so that they can have good healthy puppies. I also keep my dogs on heartworm prevention. I always make sure that my puppies are up-to-date on their shots and that they are wormed on a schedule until they go to their new homes. My puppies are well socialized and are used to being around children. I now use the ENS stimulation on my puppies starting at 3 days old. I introduce them to pad training with the Little Wolves Puppy Potty Tray essentials program that I buy from Amazon starting about 3 to 4 weeks old. Some of my grandchildren live here on my property and love the puppies and play with them almost daily. These animals are my joy, and I spend most of my time feeding, grooming, cleaning up after them, caring for and loving them.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Poodle puppies include toy, miniature, and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Havanese puppies include chocolate and black. Poodle puppies include black and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

"The price includes the guarantee, AKC registration papers with limited registration, unlimited or breeding rights can be negotiated for an additional fee, Veterinarian check, first round of vaccinations, deworming and puppy socialization, and early neurological stimulation on puppies born after September 2022. Deposits are intended to hold a puppy until a designated date. All deposits are nonrefundable."

    SELECTION While searching on the internet I found Daisy (Sadie) on Good Dog. Teresa had cute picks of her pups and when I saw Daisy I knew she was the one! The web site was easy to maneuver and simple to navigate. I set up my payments and just had to wait… that was the hard part! Teresa sent me pictures and kept me up to date with Daisy’s growth and progress. We communicated a few times a week. It was a pleasant, positive and reassuring experience. PICK UP Making the arrangements for the pickup were smooth and simple. Teresa was very flexible about when we could meet for the special day. All the items going with Daisy were ready when we arrived as well as the paperwork. The atmosphere when we arrived was very professional, warm and loving. We sensed that there was plenty of interaction with Daisy provided for by the younger members of the household that we believe has been instrumental in the experience we have had with her as well as her adjustment success to her new surroundings. EXPERIENCE: Daisy is sweet as can be since we first saw her. She is lively and playful and has been to her first vet appointment where she received a clean bill of health.     Ms.Teresa is just one of the most AMAZING PEOPLE / BREEDERS you would ever meet.     Teresa was very responsive throughout the whole process with communication. It is evident that she cares for her pups 110% from the moment they are born, to the moment they are weaned and ready to go to their new families. Our Cora has settled into our family well and her personality is showing more and more every day. She is sweet and quirky with a funny personality.
