Terra Sassa

Newhall S.

Breeder of French Bulldogs

Meet the breeder

I'm Newhall S., the breeder behind Terra Sassa located in Homosassa, FL. Showing my dogs is a huge part of my life. I am proud of the health, conformation, and temperament of the Frenchies I produce. They are also my beloved companions and I couldn't imagine my life without them!

Q. & A. with Newhall

  • Why did you start breeding?

When I bought my first Great Dane in the 1970s, I was fortunate to purchase her from a breeder who showed their Danes. They took me to the shows and I was bitten by the show bug. I did not breed my first litter for another decade while I was studying and learning but it was a natural transition to become a preservation breeder
  • What makes your program special?

When I breed, it is to improve on the parents and keep something to show and move forward with. Health, sound structure, and temperament are the priority. Health Testing and OFA certification is a priority in my breeding program. I stand behind my puppies and you will become a part of this family for a lifetime.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include fawn and fawn and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
