Meet the breeder

I'm Hope G., the breeder behind That’s My Puppy located in Gay, GA. Our dogs are bred for health, temperament, and intelligence. We strive to produce the best overall pets and family members. We commit ourselves to prepare each one of our puppies to thrive in their new homes, and we enjoy working with their new families so that they can raise their beloved companions with confidence!

Q. & A. with Hope

  • Why did you start breeding?

I have owned poodles and golden retrievers and wanted to see what the hype was about with goldendoodles. Once I bred them I completely understand. The fact they shed a LOT less than a golden retriever but are still just as sweet had me sold. I love their sweet and playful personalities. Whether they are standard or mini’s does not seem to matter on the farm. They all love water and to play ball. They are a great family dog.
  • What makes your program special?

I breed only the dogs that I think are superior in personality. All of our dogs are registered and all health checked but not all are bred. I raise the puppies with the Puppy Culture program which helps to develop confident and healthy puppies.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our Goldendoodle puppies are miniature size. Cavapoo puppies are miniature size. Shihpoo puppies are mini size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Goldendoodle puppies include cream, apricot, and merle. Cavapoo puppies are blenheim. Shihpoo puppies are black and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

I highly recommend Hope with That’s My Puppy! She has made the transition of getting a new puppy so much easier than I imagined. Our pup came home potty trained and is so smart! You can tell Hope worked well with the puppies and that they pick up on things easily. Within a day of having him he already started responding to his name. He is also sleeping amazing through the night!! I couldn’t recommend Hope and her puppies any more!

Hope goes above and beyond in her breeding practices, prioritizing socialization and behavioral training alongside health screenings. The puppies are raised in a nurturing environment where they receive love, attention and social interaction to develop into a well adjusted dog. Hope is a pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend her as a breeder

I'm so glad that we connected with Hope of Thats My Puppy in Gay Georgia through Good Dog. The whole process was easy and safe. My husband and I are so happy to have brought home a happy, healthy, loving, sweet cavapoo. We named him Tucker. Tucker is doing great! The transition has been pretty easy. Hope was quick to respond when I texted her and answered all of my puppy questions. She sent me lots of photos and videos of Tucker which sealed the deal, and we knew he was the right pup for us. Our going home pick up was easy. He was transported to the Atlanta airport where I picked him up and flew him home. Hope owns a beautiful kennel in Gay Georgia, which has fantastic Google reviews. I wasn't able to meet Hope in person but I feel like I already know her with all the time we spent chatting about Tucker. Thanks, Hope and Good Dog!
