I'm Hope G., the breeder behind That’s My Puppy located in Gay, GA. Our dogs are bred for health, temperament, and intelligence. We strive to produce the best overall pets and family members. We commit ourselves to prepare each one of our puppies to thrive in their new homes, and we enjoy working with their new families so that they can raise their beloved companions with confidence.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I have always loved dogs and have owned both Poodles and Golden Retrievers. I originally became interested in Goldendoodles because I wanted to see for myself what all the hype was about—and once I raised them, I completely understood! I fell in love with their sweet, playful personalities and the combination of the wonderful Golden Retriever temperament with a coat that typically sheds much less. Whether standard or miniature, the Goldendoodles we have raised have always loved farm life, playing ball, getting in the water, and being right in the middle of whatever the family is doing. Over the years, my breeding program has grown to include other breeds that I love, but my goal has remained the same: raise healthy, happy puppies with wonderful temperaments that will become incredible family dogs.

  • What makes your program special?

    I am very selective about the dogs I breed. My breeding dogs are registered and health tested, but not every dog that passes health testing is bred. Temperament matters tremendously to me. I want confident, affectionate, intelligent dogs that genuinely enjoy people and family life. I also use principles from the Puppy Culture program to give our puppies age-appropriate socialization and experiences that help build confidence and prepare them for life with their new families. I don't consider my job finished when a puppy leaves my home. I enjoy developing relationships with my puppy families and being someone they can reach out to with questions as their puppy grows.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our Shihpoo puppies are mini size. Goldendoodle puppies are miniature size. Cockapoo puppies are mini size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Chihuahua puppies include smooth and long coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Shihpoo puppies include brown and black and white. Goldendoodle puppies include cream and apricot. Chihuahua puppies include blue merle, gold and white, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from Hope

Hope has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Hope partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit that secures a spot in a litter. The remaining $1,000 - $4,000 is due before pickup, plus applicable taxes and fees.

“The price includes a one year health guarantee, first round of vaccinations, deworming, microchip, socialization, and a good start on potty-training and crate training. The $500 deposit will reserve your spot for picking your puppy at 4 weeks old. The order deposits are received is the order of your pick. The deposit is non-refundable.”

Hope may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.     I just wanted to say thank you again for Maggie! ❤️ We are completely in love with this little girl. Her personality is just amazing — she is so sweet, loving, playful, curious, and has the funniest little quirks. She has us laughing constantly with her little expressions, the way she follows us everywhere, her crazy bursts of energy, and then suddenly acting like the tiniest, most innocent little angel. 😂 She has such a big personality for such a little girl!     Hope was absolutely amazing to work with from start to finish!
