The Berne Barn... it’s a Doodle thing!

The Dog Days of Summer has gone to the Beach! At 5 weeks old Ellie’s 8 pups born on the Fourth of July are growing up fast. The pups have started their puppy Pre-K program where we introduce them to physical activities that will help them develop their balance, strength, agility, and most importantly their confidence! We are excited for these little munchkins to continue to learn and grow!

We are wrapping up our Top Gun Maverick litter as we say goodbye to our last 2 fellas this weekend. This was an exciting litter as we expanded our Puppy Pre-K program to help these tikes go out into the big world with the confidence they need to continue their learning and become the best little buddies out there! We are excited for all the families that chose our pups to join them in their journeys.

Sweethearts Penny Benjamin and Maverick each went home with their new families today! We are beyond excited for their new adventures!

These babes are READY TO GO HOME! We are excited to report that all of our pups passed veterinary check ups with flying colors and have been cleared for take off! They have received their first vaccines, HeartGuard for worm prevention, and microchipped. Their personalities are shining through! Penny Benjamin, Fan Boy, and Rooster have been reserved but we still have 6 amazing, beautiful, playful pups looking for their forever homes! AND, you still have time to make them a big surprise from the Easter Bunny!

Boy how time flies! These little ones are already 6weeks old and have already completed their first 10days of Puppy PreK! In our Puppy PreK program we continue to offer our babies a variety of physical challenges that build their strength, coordination, and confidence. We provide toys to climb over, balance on, or chase after to help them with coordination and agility which in turn give them confidence. Puppies are interacting with each other in active play, introduced to riding in a car and interacting with people of all ages and faces! We have also introduced crates for nap time and individual space. Crating can be necessary for a dog’s safety so it is important they see a crate as a positive place and not punishment. These babies are also mastering the use of a dog door to get outside in a safe puppy proof area and returning back inside. We have introduced potty training by giving these pups specific potty places using indoor potty trays of artificial turf as well as outdoor location. We are proud of the progress these little ones are making during this important developmental period.

We are so happy to announce the birth of our Top Gun Maverick litter of 9 beautiful pups! Follow us as these lil nuggets grow into amazing puppies. We are excited to be getting these cuties ready to find their forever families!
