I'm Canine R., the breeder behind The Canine Ranch located in Copperopolis, CA. We select top lines from each breed of our working dogs. Qualifying dogs are kept for our breeding program upon health clearances. We offer a variety of dog breeds that are genetically hardwired for sport, agility, protection, hunting, retrieving, scent work, herding and selectively, family companion animals.

Why did you start breeding?
My path to breeding grew naturally from my work as a trainer. After years of hands-on experience, I saw how much a dog’s temperament, health, and early development influence their long-term success. This inspired me to pursue ethical breeding through education, including certifications with Avidog®, and to focus on producing well-rounded, stable puppies that are set up to thrive in both family and working homes.What makes your program special?
We raise our puppies in a unique, enrichment-filled rural environment designed to build confidence, resilience, and real-world readiness. From an early age, our puppies are exposed to a variety of everyday sights and sounds. This thoughtful exposure helps shape stable, adaptable puppies who are ready to thrive in a variety of homes and lifestyles. We also offer training programs both before and after rehoming, ensuring each puppy has the best possible foundation for success, whether they’re headed for family life, performance, or working roles. Please note: For the safety of our dogs and the integrity of our program, facility visits are only permitted after an application has been approved and deposit has been received.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black brindle, yellow, and gold brindle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Canine has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

"Deposit is included in total price. Registration, deworming, immunizations, supplements, premium food, round-the-clock care, Bio-Sensor training, crate training, noise desensitization, grooming, environmental exposures, potty training, socializing, Early Scent Intro. Deposits can be kept up to one year should buyers opt out of purchase and wish to transfer the deposit towards another litter. ABSOLUTELY NO REFUNDS REGARDLESS OF LIFE CIRCUMSTANCES. This fee is applied towards administrative expenses, time and proper placement for each individual."

About Xena
Xena is a female Dutch Shepherd about 2 years old. Carefully selected as a great representative of her breed, Canine decided to make her part of their program. Canine has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.

About Eva
Eva is an active sporty Dutchie that loves her family and kids. She is a wonderful watch dog and has an excellent disposition with strong environmentals, confidence and solid nerves. She will swim, hunt, hike, ride alongside horses and play fetch with the kids all day. She loves to do bite sports as well.

About Layla
Layla is very well rounded female. She is extremely intelligent and learns quickly. She truly enjoys to work. Her drive is moderate/high with a great off/on switch. Layla has a very strong pushing bite grip and loves doing protection sports, Agility, Scent work, swimming, and retrieving. She is very neutral around dogs, children, animals and loud busy places etc Layla can be weary and suspicious of strangers but will not react unless cued. She is very handler focused and loves her family. She does not solicit for attention like most dogs do, she is very confident and stays close to her handler. Layla does great in any task you give her. She ultimately wants to please. She isn’t super food driven. She’s so enthusiastic about working, her disposition is of a true working dog. She does not want affection or treats, she just wants to get the job done. Layla can go from sport to civil, to active family pet. She travels well, does great on her own when separated. Layla is extremely loyal and obedient to her handler and will never roam or leave.

About Boef
Boef was imported from the Netherlands as a titled PH1 (Police Dog Level 1 with Honors) and was employed by the US Navy as an Explosives Detection Dog. Boef recently earned his PSA PDC (Protection Sports Association: Protection Dog Certificate) shortly after his retirement. Boef now resides with our family and enjoys scentwork and weekly bitework sports. His hunt/ball drive is very high. He is a very social, energetic and athletic dog

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia (Preliminary)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

I could not have asked for a better breeder / trainer than Amina. She worked with me for several months to find the perfect pup fit and my lil guy is a rockstar! Before the litter even whelped she was responding and answering all my questions quickly, was Very knowledgeable not just about the breed and dam n sire, but also about training and raising canines with a variety of goals. I’ve had Basenjis, Jack Russells and Terriers my whole life and have gone through several breeders and Amina is one of the best, the love and care she has with all her dogs and litters really showed. I’m thrilled with my little dude and can’t wait to bring him back to their Canine Ranch for training!
