Q. & A. with Siciley
Why did you start breeding?
I grew up raising AKC Golden Retrievers, it's been in my blood from an early age. When my husband and I bought our own home I knew it was time to start our own program together with our children. We knew the experience would be memorable and so satisfying giving other families the best dogs from one loving home to another. It's a lot of hard work but we love it and wouldn't change it.
What makes your program special?
Our breeding program is small so we can better match people with their perfect companion, we get to know each and every puppy - by name. We use early neurological stimulation and training using Puppy Culture. Our pups come from our pets, they have limited litters so they and their puppies can be healthy and have the best start in life.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our Bernedoodle puppies include mini, medium, and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Bernedoodle puppies include sable, black, black and white, tri-color, and phantom. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.

About Maggie
Maggie loves to be with you, that’s her happy place. She also loves exploring the outdoors, going to the beach but also just hanging at home. Get her in a game of fetch and she’d be content for the whole day! She’s so beautiful and such a great mama to her past puppies. We’re really excited about the prospect of her having another litter.

Breeder-Reported Testing
Good level
The Canine Society reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Bernedoodles.
Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1B), Bernese Mountain Dog Type
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
