I'm Amiee G., the breeder behind The Clever Corgi located in Hebron, KY. The Clever Corgi is a small hobby kennel of Pembroke Welsh Corgis. We have owned and loved Corgis since 2004. Our goal is to produce a home raised, happy, healthy, bright, outgoing Corgi that is as close to the breeding standard as possible. A Corgi that will become a beloved companion with a sound temperament, mind, and health. We think Corgis make the ultimate companions and would love for you to bring home one of your own!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    We purchased our first Corgi in 2004 as a birthday gift for our son and instantly fell in love with the breed. Corgis are courageous, intelligent, loving dogs with a silly side that keeps us laughing. Our dogs are professional cuddlers that live in our home with us. Pups are raised in our home with lots of love.

  • What makes your program special?

    We only breed a few litters per year and implement a Puppy Culture approach to raising our litters to give them a firm foundation at being excellent lifetime companions.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include red and sable. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Amiee

Amiee has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Puppy prices include a $250 non-refundable deposit and between $1,750 - $2,750 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“At 3-4 weeks we go through our waitlist and take deposits to hold pups. Pups start at $2000 with AKC limited registration We only offer breeding rights to approved show homes-please ask for information on this process. There is an additional $500 fee for Full Rights. At 3-4 weeks we go through our waitlist and take deposits to reserve pups.”

Amiee may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
