I'm Marla H., the breeder behind The Cocker Cingdom located in Myerstown, PA. Our dogs are bred for health and temperament first, and conformation and sport/work second. We focus on creating healthy, happy, easy going family members who excel at service and therapy work, as well as showing in AKC sports and conformation.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I fell in love with cocker spaniels and wanted to pass the wonderful temperament of my dogs on so others can experience the joy of this amazing breed!
  • What makes your program special?

    All of my adults are fully health tested, DNA and OFA. Pups are raised on a proven curriculum designed to meet their age specific needs. We have an extended socialization and training program. We are here for our puppies and their families for the entirety of their lives.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Cockapoo puppies are mini size. Poodle puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Cocker Spaniel puppies include buff and white, brown white and tan, black white and tan, black and tan, black, brown and tan, brown and white, and buff. Cockapoo puppies include buff, red, brown and tan, brown, black and tan, and black. Poodle puppies are red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from Marla

Marla has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Price

Puppy prices include a $250 non-refundable deposit and between $1,550 - $2,250 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Includes a 1 year genetic health guarantee, limited AKC registration, vet checked / health certificate, and all age appropriate vaccines and deworming. Deposit is nonrefundable but can be transferred to a future litter or puppy.”

  • DNA Profile, DNA Coat/Trait Panel, DNA Disease Panel, PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
