I'm Makayla H., the breeder behind The Doodle Den located in Gibsonville, NC. We're newer breeders starting a small program. We hope to help provide families with quality puppies as we continue to learn & grow! Our dogs stole our hearts right from the start and we found ourselves wanting to get more involved. Breeding was a natural next step and we haven’t looked back since!

What makes your program special?
Our parents are genetically tested and cleared. All puppies are raised under BAB curriculum with Early Neurological Stimulation and scent exposure. We begin potty training around 3 weeks and crate training between 6 and 7 weeks.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are medium size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Puppy prices include a $250 non-refundable deposit and $1,150 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Makayla was the absolute best throughout the whole process! She worked with us through various options on how to get our puppy to us and was willing to do whatever it took to ensure we were happy. We noticed this puppy online & fell in love with him due to him resembling our old doodle. It was not an easy task to get him from North Carolina to Upper Michigan, but I would do it all over again. Copper (Also known as Clay) is great & has the best personality. He is also great with our 1.5 year old. He caught onto training very quickly as well as Makayla was working with him & sharing updates on his progress, which I think made a huge difference in the training process. I highly recommend The Doodle Den to anyone looking for a doodle. You will not be disappointed!

Makayla made this experience seamless. She was amazing with communication and extremely responsive! She made incredible arrangements to meet us with our Vinny (prancer). She was also 100% right that he is very sweet and cuddly and loves to be around people! He’s so playful and silly. Seeing that they have another litter reminded me that I needed to share about our experience. We received Vinny with a bag of goodies to go with him as well! Couldn’t have asked for more, and 6 months later he’s spoiled rotten

I’ve had a wonderful experience with The Doodle Den! Makayla is awesome! She gave great advice, as well as provided me with weekly updates leading up to Pick Up Day. My puppy Benji (John Dory) is so smart, healthy, playful, and just the sweetest! His early exposure to potty and crate training was very helpful. Training has been a breeze! Makayla is very knowledgeable and definitely prepares the pups for the transition into their forever homes!

The Doodle Den really was amazing to communicate with and get our baby girl home! Odile (Blitzen) has such a sweet and playful temperament with a beautiful face-and the early exposure to crate and potty training has been an insane blessing! The fact that she started off with children in the house as well really boosted the socialisation and interactiveness of our puppy. She’s also really quick to learn! Pick up was perfect and we are super happy family with this little princess!
