I'm Jeremy/Cindy G., the breeder behind The Gilbert Farms located in Collinsville, AL. Our Golden Retrievers are fully health tested and bred for excellence in temperament and structure. Our dogs are our #1 companions, and enjoy life on our farm. Our dogs are an incredibly important piece of our family, and we are happy to bring that joy to others!

Q. & A. with Jeremy/Cindy

  • Why did you start breeding?

We bought our first pet 15 years ago and decided to have 1 or 2 litters just to enjoy the puppies and have the experience to watch the puppies develop and grow. We loved it so much we are still breeding 15 years later.
  • What makes your program special?

We have a small breeding program so that we can give each one of our dogs all the love and care that they need and deserve. Our dogs are a big part of our family.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are light golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Cindy and her family at Gilbert Farms have been amazing. We were able to visit the pups and get to know their personalities before we picked one out. We took our puppy, Tasi, home and she has been such a joy! She is so smart and has learned how to come, stay and sit at 11 weeks old and she was potty trained a week after she came home. She now rings the bell on the door to go potty. Her vet visits have confirmed that she is healthy and growing strong. This breeder really cares about the health and well being of their dogs. Thank you, Gilbert Farms!
