I'm Amy and Mike P., the breeder behind The Golden Rule Doos and Poos located in Ocala, FL. We are a small breeder that aims to produce top-quality dogs to live as pets. Our goal is to produce loving companions. We breed for health and temperament above all. Each of our puppies are shown lots of love and affection so they are ready to thrive in their new homes.

Why did you start breeding?
We have always had a love for puppies and dogs. We absolutely fell in love with every aspect of breeding when we got our two original dogs and knew their temperaments needed to be reproduced. We even enjoy continuing to research everything we can about raising happy and healthy puppies. We believe that with breeding, there is always more to learn and ways to grow!What makes your program special?
We feel that our breeding program is special because of all the time and love we put into each puppy. Starting when the puppies are born, someone is with them and their momma at all times for the first three weeks. We spend that time doing early nurturing, stimulating, and socializing with each puppy. We take weekly pictures of the puppies in the litter so that families can see a week-by-week comparison of their puppy growing up. Our puppy families also receive updates when important milestones happen (first wet food, first shots, etc.).What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our Poodle puppies are toy size. Cavapoo puppies are miniature size. Goldendoodle puppies include miniature, medium, and standard sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Maltipoo puppies include red and white. Cavapoo puppies include apricot and red. Goldendoodle puppies include cream, apricot, red, and chocolate. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Amy and Mike has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
After buyers complete the application and screening process, Amy and Mike partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“The price includes a one-year health guarantee, 30 days of free pet insurance through Trupanion, a small toy, the first round of puppy shots, regular deworming, and a well-spoiled, well-socialized puppy. The deposit is $500 and guarantees the pick of a male or female. Puppy pick will occur in the order deposits are received. If for any reason we do not have a puppy available for you, then you will receive your deposit back.”

Amy and Mike may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. About Louie
Louie is our 3 lb red male poodle and the sweetest little man. He loves to get right up in your face and rub his head against your cheek. He doesn’t always pick the most convenient time, but it’s such an adorable little quirk that it’s hard to mind. His favorite place to be is wherever his human momma is. Louie isn’t super outgoing, but he isn’t a shy dude either. He likes to take a minute, check things out, and decide for himself before jumping into something new. We are so excited to welcome Louie as our new cavapoo daddy, as he has an amazing temperament and is a loving, gentle little stud. Oh yeah, and he has the best facial expressions!

Dixie is a beautiful girl who keeps her family on their toes! She resides in a guardian home with 3 children, but she is the only princess. Dixie has a sweet face and an even sweeter personality. Her babies are sure to be adorable cuddle bugs.

Odie is a male Goldendoodle. Carefully selected as a great representative of his breed, Amy and Mike decided to make him part of their program. Amy and Mike has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.

It was a pleasure working with Amy and Mike to add our new puppy "Belle" to our family. We kept her name and introduced her to our 7 month goldendoodle Snoopy. They immediately became best friends! You can tell that Belle was raised in a loving environment. She adapted amazingly to our household and had no issues whatsoever. She is gentle, loving and very playful. Her tail is constantly wagging! We drove from Florida to pick up Belle. Amy was so good about helping to find a good meeting place to help with some of the distance. I've included some pictures of Belle and Snoopy. One is of her consoling Snoopy after he was neutered! We are more than pleased with our experience dealing with The Golden Rule Doodles. Amy and Mike were kind, responsive to all my questions, and accommodating when picking up to puppy. I spoke with Mike during pickup and you can tell they care about their dogs. Tarzan (since named Kimchi) is a happy and gentle member of the family already. Happily nibbling everything (and everyone) and trying to eat every acorn outside. Great people!
