I'm Jayme C., the breeder behind The Morkie Mom located in Aliquippa, PA. Growing up around breeding, I’ve gotten to see first hand what goes into making sure a puppy is ready for their new home! My grandchildren are well socialized and cuddle bugs by the time they go to their furever homes! With their parents being so smart, they have seemed to acquire the same traits :).

  • Why did you start breeding?

    My mom has bred Morkies for a long time and before that German Shepards, so I grew up around breeding! I’ve been there for many deliveries and watched many puppies grow up until they went off to their new homes!

  • What makes your program special?

    My dogs are a part of my family and their puppies are just as special to me as they are. I take pride in my grandbabies and make sure to give them all the love and cuddles and learning I can give them before they go off to their new families 🩷

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include piebald, black, and black & tan tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

  • Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • DNA Disease Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
