I'm Susan M., the breeder behind The North Forty located in Pauls Valley, OK. Having a dog in our lives is such a blessing. We find so much fulfillment in providing that same companionship to other homes! We find so much joy in watching our puppies grow and develop their own unique personalities. We can’t wait for you to meet your next loving and loyal companion!

Why did you start breeding?
I have always loved animals … always had dogs, cats and a horse growing up. I always wanted a Standard Poodle so when I grew closer to retirement from nursing I bought my first red Standard Poodle and expanded my small crew from there learning best breeding practices from my vet and other breeders.What makes your program special?
My site The North Forty on Facebook literally shows my day to day life .. I post my litters from birth everyday until they go to their furever homes. I will answer any questions you might have and if I don’t know, I will find out.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include apricot, red, and parti. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from Susan
Susan has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $1,300 - $1,800 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“Price includes AKC registration for Standard Poodle, $1600 for limited and $2100. for full registration.Puppies have tails docked to AKC Standards, dew claws removed and up to date on shots along with vet check. $300 non refundable deposit will reserve your pick of puppy with balance due prior to pick up at 8 weeks. If picking puppy at 8 weeks of age, full payment due prior to pick up.”
Contract & health guarantee
Susan may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
