I'm Barbie R., the breeder behind The Pink Doghouse located in Curtice, OH. We’re proud of the healthy, affectionate, and behaviorally well-rounded puppies we raise for other families to love! Why did you start breeding?
I’m started with my stud dog GuccyBoyWhat makes your program special?
I do full health testings on all my dogs in my breeding program and raise my dogs in my home on BadassBreeder program. I watery early ENS/ESI first few weeks of life. I start potty training at 3.5 weeks up to go home at 8 weeks we also start crate training at 6 weeks up to go home at 8 weeks.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies include mini and medium sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black and white, tri-color, phantom, blue merle, and merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Barbie partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered), Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered), Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA), Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA), Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
