Breeder of Poodles

Meet the breeder

I'm Amelia R., the breeder behind The Rad Poodles located in Woodbine, IA. Our sweet poodles are bred with health and temperament in mind. We ensure that they are ready to go to their new homes and strive to place them with families that are going to love them!

Q. & A. with Amelia

  • Why did you start breeding?

Edward grew up with a family that had ranches. Those family members bred Toy Poodles. He fell in love with the whole process, and as soon as it was possible for him to start breeding, he did. Our goal is to not only produce beautiful puppies but to help promote responsible breeding in order to ensure that the Poodle will continue to thrive for generations to come.
  • What makes your program special?

Poodles are our passion. All of our dogs are our family pets and are loved as such. We believe that having a dog is one of the best ways to go through life. We also believe that you should be able to have a quality dog that is still affordable. It's an honor to represent this breed and create opportunities for others to experience the same joy that we have found in raising these wonderful dogs.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include apricot, black, blue, cream, gray, silver, and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
