Meet the breeder

I'm Tasha S., the breeder behind The Silver Collar located in North Carolina. We are a small veteran owned and operated business that came about from our love of dogs and serving soldiers. We believe that we have the foremost line of Standard Poodles. Our goal is to provide trained dogs at an affordable rate. We also offer trained companion dogs, as well as family pets.

Q. & A. with Tasha

  • Why did you start breeding?

My breeding program came about from the love of my own Poodles and their capacity to help support Soldiers. I have been breeding and training Standard Poodles for many years with great success. I personally love the Standard Poodle for their versatility and ability to adapt to any living environment. My #1 goal is to provide trained canine partners for those in need, at an affordable rate.
  • What makes your program special?

My breeding program focuses on the temperament and conformation of the litters I produce. All of my dogs are raised, trained, and live in actual homes with families, they are pets first and foremost.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
