Meet the breeder
I'm Sandie, the breeder behind The Welsh Loaf & Co located in Virginia. I have a passion for corgis and it started with my first corgi and grew from there. Our fur kiddos are well loved and cared for. We plan on starting our breeding program in the next year or two, once we find the perfect farm, or piece of land, to build on. Our dogs live in our home, beside us.

Why did you start breeding?
I’m still learning more in preparation for the future. Just a genuine love for Corgi breeds! It’s definitely not a breed for everyone, as any breed is suited more for certain types of people and lifestyles. I absolutely love corgis through and through! They’re my “spirit animals” and they crack me up, bring me a deep gut type of laugh and smiles all the time! They’re funnyc snuggly and love food!What makes your program special?
We love them as our pets first and foremost, we will only consider breeding them if they are healthy and well tempered as they mature, we will then decide if they are spayed or neutered, or become part of our future program in a few years. Plans to start in 2027/2028 hopefully, if things go as planned.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Sandie partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Litter update on 07 Aug •…Happy puppies…. Sleepy puppies, playful puppies! Puppies and Yoga was a hit! We still have some puppies available. Their ears are trying to take flight! Bicolor America. corgis with very minimal brindle points. Bane is the big fluffy boy, Dolly is the petite princess. Gordo is the happy boy, Blake and Bruce are sweet fluffies, and Burt is the last liver chocolate boy These guys are sturdy built, potty trained to use a litter tray and will easily learn to potty outside. Program update on 24 June •…Nap time after lunch! Puppies fell asleep before we could wipe their faces and puppy food that randomly ends up everywhere! It’s fun to watch them enjoy their food and make a mess! Such a cute and sweet milestone when they’re learning to eat on their own. Today they started soaked kibble without blending into mush. They loved it! It was anew texture for them.😍🥹😭🐾🥰🫶💝☺️😍🐶💓

Program update on 24 June •…The beautiful fluffy girl we call “Babs,” *Batgirl* is so full of personality and sass. She is confident and fearless. Her solid back coat, (besides her little chin of white, her white boots and belly) is stunning and glamorous with her amazing fluffy coat. It's full and luxurious to touch. We considered keeping her, but having her parents (sire) is not ideal, so grab her before I change my mind again! She's a bigggg girl! Probably going to be a nice sized girl, more like her mom’s thicker build. She's on the top 2 or 3 in size depending on the day and her brothers overeating haha She can hold her own!
