Q. & A. with Debra
Why did you start breeding?
I started breeding with my husband who was an avid duck hunter. We bred AKC champion hunting labs. After our middle daughter developed OCD and panic attacks I to do some research into the Australian Labradoodle. With the low shed and how in tune our Nova was with our daughters anxiety. I knew she’d make an amazing momma.
What makes your program special?
We are a small in home program. Our breeding dogs are our family. We concentrate on one litter at a time, hand raised in our home. Our parent dogs have been health certified OFA, penhips, CRIF eyes and embark. Placing each puppy is job I take seriously. Meeting and working with potential families to make a perfect fit is very important.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are medium size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include caramel cream, caramel, caramel red, red, and apricot. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
