I'm Christopher L., the breeder behind Third Coast Havanese located in Sebastian, TX. Welcome to Third Coast Havanese! We have been raising Havis since 2017. In house amongst our 4 kids, that are 3-14 years old. All of our pups are well socialized with kids and people as well as introduced to other dogs and sometimes animals, as we are also on a ranch.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    We got our first Havanese back in 2009 and knew when we got him that we eventually wanted to breed. It wasn't till almost 3 years later that we got our first female, Gali, to start breeding.

  • What makes your program special?

    Besides the extra genetic testing, and socialization we do with our pups, we also keep them till they are 10 weeks old. During that extra 2 weeks we are starting our pups on clicker training and crate training. We have found that this extra time helps our pups have an easier transition into their new family.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Christopher

Puppy prices include a $1,250 non-refundable deposit and between $1,050 - $1,250 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Our pups come with their AKC registration, first round of vaccinations, a vet health check, are microchipped, are started on clicker and crate training, and come with a 1 year health guarantee. We ask for half of the puppy price upfront to secure your puppy. The remainder is due before pickup.”

    I had a very good experience with Christopher and Third Coast Havanese. He responded promptly to all my questions before we made our final decision. Our sweet Harley is the BEST!!! We took her for a general exam 5 days after getting her and my vet said she was in great shape. Harley is catching on very quickly to all the new routines. She also brings us LOTS of laughter! She’s only two pounds so she has to run everywhere to keep up with our 80 pound lab. So funny. We are more than satisfied with our purchase and interactions with Christopher. I would highly recommend communicating with him if you’re interested in the Havanese breed. ❤️
