I'm Anna S., the breeder behind Thistledown Havanese located in Seattle, WA. I am a small hobby breeder of Havanese in Seattle,Washington, who raises a few litters of a year. My goal is to breed puppies that are happy, healthy, and will thrive in family homes. All of our dogs are fully health tested, well socialized, and come from Grand Championship lines.
Q. & A. with Anna
Why did you start breeding?
I was involved in showing my first Havanese, Zoey, which led me into finding a mentor with experience in showing and breeding Havanese. My focus is to improve upon the breed, while at the same time, provide families with well socialized puppies with excellent structure and the sweet Havanese temperament!
What makes your program special?
Our dogs are a central part of our family, going on outings, sleeping with us, playing with our children. I am an active member of The Cascade Havanese Club which participates in the Meet and Greet Event at the Seattle Dog Show every year. I attend local dog shows in the Northwest and my dogs do well in the ring.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
