Meet the breeder

I'm Rebecca D., the breeder behind Tiny Paws Goldendoodles located in Point, TX. A small breeding program focused on finding each person their best partner in life. We want to ensure all of our puppies are loved and cared for. Our moms live in our home and never in a kennel, they are not bred until they are 2 and not breed after 6 years. We look to find you a happy healthy baby.

Q. & A. with Rebecca

  • Why did you start breeding?

I got Hope almost three years ago, she is my world! I wanted to share that love with others, so I did research on how to be ethical and ensure that all my babies get the best life ever. Although I fear puppy mills for dogs, I truly think that proper and ethical breeding is the only way to get puppies their voice they need.
  • What makes your program special?

I think two words... True & Love. I put love, time, and patience into my program. I do DNA and health testing on my breeders and on my litters to ensure I am only breeding the best quality babies. I ensure everything is done at the Vets office so that he can ensure the babies are perfect, with no in-home shots or microchipping, all done at the vet's office. Daily socialization from day three with ENS and more.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies include petite and miniature sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include cream, black, phantom, and merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Rebecca was quick to respond any questions about the puppy. She was very respectful and walked us through the process of adopting through the app. We video called to meet the puppy before we decided to go through with the adoption. Meet up was feasible and easy. Our puppy was clean and happy and we went home with supplies for the first few days. Overall, great experience!

We purchased our doodle puppy from Rebecca. We were very lucky to find Rebecca who is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and mostly importantly, someone who genuinely cares about her puppies and the families they go to. She provided us with all the detailed vet records, explained everything clearly, and always made time to answer our many questions, both before and after we brought our puppy home. Our new member is very healthy, well-socialized, and has the sweetest temperament. We feel so grateful to have found Rebecca, and we highly recommend her to anyone looking for a genuinely caring breeder.

Rebecca helped me understand my sweet new puppy. She had called him Bashful. I wanted to call him Ol' Blue Eyes, because of his sweet blue eyes. I would have called him Blue. But one of our sons at first thought we should call him Frankie. Then 5 minutes later decided it should be Sin, short for Sinatra. I capitulated and said, "Sin it is." Yet... After our pickup, we stopped for gas at a Buc-ee's for gas. For those who don't know Buc-ee's, it is similar to a huge truck stop with tons of gas tanks for fill-ups, food, drink, gifts, and the cleanest restrooms with lots and lots of stalls. I got out of the car with Sin to take him for a walk. He slipped out of his collar and I had this new, beautiful puppy on the lose among lots of cars. Fortunately, another customer helped me catch him. As soon as we got back in the car, I announced his name is no longer Sin. We made a stop at the first Petco we could find to get a harness and are happy with it. I decided that any brave escape artist deserved to be named Houdini. We call him Houdi for short. And we are constantly listening to YouTube videos of Hootie and the Blow Fish! Thank you, Rebecca, for allowing me be Houdi's caretaker. He has already brought so much joy and excitement into our home.
