I'm Heath L., the breeder behind Toledo Bend Giants Vom Zitronen located in Many, LA. Our breeding stock is hip and health tested to give the best possible outcome for producing healthy pups.   • Why did you start breeding?

    I handled & trained German Shepherd and Belgian Malinois in Law Enforcement. I fell in love with watching them progress in training from nothing more than a cute pup to a bad to the bone K-9. The Giant Schnauzer is hands down a better choice in my opinion for a working dog so that’s the way I went.

  • What makes your program special?

    Limited litters 1 to 2 a year from above breed standards health tested dogs. All breeding Dogs are trained in something explosive, drug detection, tracking, patrol work. This gives them purpose and a job making for a good happy environment for our dogs. All breeding females are retired and placed with Healing for Heroes, they are placed with a disabled veteran. 3 year health guarantee

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies are black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from Heath

Puppy prices include a $1,000 non-refundable deposit and between $1,000 - $2,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

"Pups 8 weeks old range from $2,000 to $3,500. Older puppies are priced according to the training level. We support our men and women who serve our country and offer discounted prices for them. We require a contract and do not offer breeding rights. Our Giants are very high drive and require a task they are not your normal family pet although they will give their life protecting your family."

    Heath was wonderful to work with from the start.     My wife and I had such a great experience that we are actually thinking about getting a second giant from Toledo Bend Giant!!! The breeder actually allowed us to go to his kennel and gave us training before leaving. He also texted a few times today to check on us. His dogs are strong and intelligent. The puppy uses the restroom outside at 10 weeks and stayed in the crate through the night without whining. It was worth driving from Texss to Louisiana!!! Best breeder, hands down!!! We will be back.
