I'm Trisch W., the breeder behind Tomten Bouviers located in Portland, OR. I breed Bouviers with soundness in temperament, structure, and health uppermost in my mind and work with the puppies from day one. I expect my puppies to go to homes that will continue to use secondary marker R+ training and behavior modification techniques.
Q. & A. with Trisch
Why did you start breeding?
Breeding dogs were a part of growing up. I guess it just seemed like the natural thing, but it can be so difficult sometimes when things go wrong. It takes a certain strength to keep on going I suppose.
What makes your program special?
As a trainer, I know how important it is to work with the puppies from the time they're born to bring out the best each puppy has to offer. I have always done ENS, early brief separation, identifying potential stressors, and individual training with each puppy, we will be incorporating Puppy Culture in a more formal way with our next litter.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Deposit is refundable if/when I am able to place the puppy. I do not take deposits until pregnancy is confirmed and an idea of numbers is achieved.
