I'm Rae B., the breeder behind Top Brackett Danes located in Grand Junction, CO. Each one of our dogs are picked based on temperaments, health and structure to be added to our breeding program. We range from heavy euro to euros with a tighter face and structured body. All of our dogs are raised around kids and other animals. Our dogs have 8 ac to run and explore and enjoy.

Why did you start breeding?
I bought my first Great Dane over 10 years ago and had just planned for a pet. I was so impressed with her temperament and for just my knowledge took her for her health testing and realized what a perfect representation of the breed she was. We search for the perfect stud and worked under an amazing breeder that guided us in this journey and has become the amazing program we have now .What makes your program special?
Our dogs are raised on a large amount of property where they are exposed to other animals and lots of kids and in a family setting. Our puppies get to see the outside and the grass and interact with people and animals. Making them more confident when going home to new families.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia (Preliminary)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
