I'm Lanan B., the breeder behind Top of the Hill Frenchies and Bernedoodles located in Camden, SC. Bernedoodles: I have been a breeder for 8 years. I’m a home Breeder . My dogs live indoors with the family and are very socialized. I own the mother who is a Standard tri color Standard Poodle.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I have always loved and owned lots of dogs. When I retired from my full time occupation I decided that I would breed dogs to keep me occupied and create income. It is a lot of hard work but very satisfying.

  • What makes your program special?

    All of my breeding dogs are my personal pets. They are raised and live in my home. I feed my dogs excellent quality of food and raise healthy, thriving pups. All of my pups are socialized with our family and grandkids. I live on an acre of land which allows the my puppies/dogs room to run and play. My dogs are never in Kennels. I constantly keep abreast of latest health practices & training

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies are tri-color. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Pricing depends upon color, structure and sex. The deposit is a good faith deposit and is credited to the sales price of the puppy.”

Lanan may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • von Willebrand Disease III (vWD III), Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), Congenital Hypothyroidism with Goiter (CHG)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
