I'm Farrah G., the breeder behind Topnotch Poodles located in Esko, MN. All of our puppies are raised as members of our family until they’re ready to join yours. The sweet, loyal, and playful disposition of our dogs inspired us to begin responsibly breeding to expand the breed and share them with others. All puppies are carefully raised to meet their full potential.
Q. & A. with Farrah
Why did you start breeding?
I grew up going to dog shows with my mom & sister. My mom is a breeder & groomer so I assisted her growing up. I’ve been involved with dogs my entire life and whelped my first litter when I was 12 years old- a beautiful litter of poodles. After getting settled into my adult life, I started my own breeding program to share the love of this amazing breed that has brought so much joy to my life!
What makes your program special?
My breeding program is a rare find because I equally emphasize health, happiness, temperament, and conformation. My poodle’s title across disciplines and many are certified therapy dogs. You also will NOT find them sitting in a kennel so they have enough “hair to show” in conformation. My dogs get to be dogs & family first.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
