I'm Clare T., the breeder behind Trahan Farms located in Foxworth, MS. We are pet owners first and foremost. All of our puppies are raised as members of our family until they’re ready to join yours. Our dogs stole our hearts right from the start and we found ourselves wanting to get more involved. Breeding was a natural next step and we haven’t looked back since!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    As a little girl, I've always been an aninal lover especially a dog lover. Growing up I was a gymnast and qualified for nationals. My father asked, "if you win 1st place I will get you anything" of course my response was a Beagal. Long story short that's where it all began. We then started breeding beagals and once I got older I decided to breed poodles and soon started breeding doodles.

  • What makes your program special?

    Our breeding program is special because we are small enough to invest our time in each adult dog as well as each puppy. We spend countless hours with our puppies so they will adjust better to their new family. We love and take pride in our program because our adult dogs and puppies are family.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our Springerdoodle puppies are standard size. Bernedoodle puppies are medium size. Poodle puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Springerdoodle puppies are black and white. Bernedoodle puppies include black and white and merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Clare

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $250 non-refundable deposit and between $950 - $1,750 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes AKC registration application, vet checks, deworming, vaccinations, and puppy bag for new family. Our deposits are to secure the precious puppy.”

Contract & health guarantee

Clare may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Clare offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don't hesitate to reach out to Clare directly.

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
