I'm Heather R., the breeder behind Treasured Standard Poodles located in Spokane, WA. We're quality breeders, not quantity breeders. We provide healthy, adjusted puppies using the Puppy Culture protocol in our home. We have health tested parents to ensure the physical health of the puppy and then we use the Puppy Culture protocol to ensure their mental health as well.

Why did you start breeding?
As an adult, I raised many animals, but my favorite part of having animals was breeding. I always wanted to share a part of my perfect animal with others. I was lucky enough to find a husband who loves our dogs just as much as I do. We love to share our puppies and make good friends in the process.What makes your program special?
Our motto in life is: "If you know better, do better." We strive to do better, learn more, and provide better puppies as we grow as a breeder.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
PawPrint Genetic Panel (Breed Specific), Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), OFA/CHIC DNA Repository
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
