Meet the breeder

I'm Lenny Ann S., the breeder behind Trifecta Miniature American Shepherds located in Spring Valley, CA. We are proud to offer an exceptional puppy-rearing program, Puppy Culture, that conditions your puppy with techniques that reduce stress and fear for the development of a happy puppy. Our focus is to prepare the puppies to go out into the world as loving, confident, outgoing companions.

Q. & A. with Lenny Ann

  • Why did you start breeding?

I am passionate about this intelligent, beautiful breed I have loved most of my life. When we were interested in adding another dog to our family, we had difficulty finding gorgeous dogs with solid temperaments. Once we found great dogs, we began competing in AKC events. The next step in my journey is ultimately what led me to breed these beautiful dogs that I can share with wonderful families.
  • What makes your program special?

Our goal is to develop puppies better than their parents. What makes us unique is our ability to match the right puppy with the right home. Then, after the pup has that perfect home, we offer the families a lifetime of support, training, friendship, and mentorship if they choose.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include black, red merle, blue merle, and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
