I'm Peyton F., the breeder behind Tri-Star Stock Farm located in Gilt Edge, TN. We are a small, family breeding program where our dogs are raised in our home and on our livestock farm. Our dogs are bred for health, temperament, conformation, and versatility. Each puppy is raised as a member of our family until they are placed with their future homes!
Q. & A. with Peyton
Why did you start breeding?
We purchased our first Pembroke Welsh Corgi in 2015 as a herding dog and family companion. I instantly fell in love with the breed and had always been interested in raising dogs myself. With the help of a mentor breeder, we were able to get started with one stud and two females and we whelped our first litter in 2019. Our dogs are bred for conformation, disposition, and natural herding drive.
What makes your program special?
We try to stay true to the intent of the breed and focus on dogs that will make great family pets, but also great herding dogs if they are called to do so! Our dogs are true to AKC standard, have great temperaments, and come from working farm backgrounds. Puppies are socialized from Day 1. Our breeding dogs are a vital part of our farming operation, well-loved and are members of our family!
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include red, sable, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
