I'm Donna M., the breeder behind Tropheous located in Washington. Improving my lines means that I choose pairings based not only on conformation, temperament, abilities, and personality, but also put a lot of research and emphasis on health, longevity, and diversity.
Q. & A. with Donna
Why did you start breeding?
I began breeding Border Collies in 1990 and still love the breed. However, Poodles have stolen my heart and are my love and passion and I wanted to share them with others. I also have a special place in my heart for terriers and have added miniature schnauzer to my program.
What makes your program special?
I’ve been blessed with a wonderful temperament and great structure and good health, as well as good coats, athletic ability, and type. There is always room for improvement, and my goals are to improve what I can while preserving what I have.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our Poodle puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Poodle puppies include black, blue, cream, and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
