Meet the breeder

I'm Destiny K., the breeder behind True Blue Standard Poodles located in Mooresville, NC. We are a small breeder of Standard Poodles. Our poodles are our family pets and are spoiled with lots of love and attention. They go on trips with us including errands and they love to take our boys to school and pick them up. They sleep in our bed with us every night. Gypsy will only sleep with mama but Rocco, Aries and Deja love to sleep with any of us.

Q. & A. with Destiny

  • Why did you start breeding?

A lot of research! I want to preserve the breed. I love being able to place a puppy in a loving home. Our dogs have great personalities and are healthy so we thought we would share them with other people to enjoy. It’s very rewarding to see all of your hard work pay off with how much the families love their Poodles. Our sons love it when we have puppies. The kids and puppies learn from each other.
  • What makes your program special?

We only whelp and raise our litters inside our home. We are all hands on deck with our litters. We have a puppy room with everything the mom and puppies need. We practice early potty training, socializing, ens, and Puppy culture. We groom early to get the puppies used to it. Our litters have everything done by our vet. Our puppies leave happy, healthy, and confident.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include black, cafe au lait, silver, silver-beige, parti, and phantom. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
