Meet the breeder

I'm Anita N., the breeder behind Trusted Valley Retrievers located in Patterson, CA. We are conscientious in our breeding practices, and we breed for health, temperament, drive, and ability. We want our dogs to be biddable and able to succeed wherever they are needed, as well as to thrive in their homes with their families.

Q. & A. with Anita

  • Why did you start breeding?

My love for Labradors started at a very young age, it has since expanded to a love for English Golden Retrievers!
  • What makes your program special?

FARM and FAMILY LIFE 🐾🌿 Our pups are raised exploring nature on daily walks through our orchard, soaking in all the sights, sounds, and smells of farm life. From meeting chickens and cats to playing with other dogs, every day is a new adventure. We believe in giving them a rich, diverse environment so they grow into confident, well-rounded companions—ready to thrive with their forever families.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are light golden. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Anita

Anita has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Anita partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 6 weeks old.

“Finding the perfect match matters to us 🐾❤️ We take great care in pairing each puppy with their forever family. From an early age, we begin observing and taking notes on every pup’s unique personality. Around 6–7 weeks, we perform temperament testing to better understand their traits and tendencies. We also ask each family to complete our puppy questionnaire—this helps us get to know you, your lifestyle, and what you’re looking for in a Golden Retriever.”

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,500 - $3,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.
